I have been loosely following the NeuroLink story over the last couple of years and I am uncomfortable with where it could be going. I feel like hidden underneath all of this there is a longer game.
Musk and associates like to pitch the Neurolink chip as though it can 'read thoughts' - hell, it might even connect the participant with super-intelligent alien beings on other planets with this connection! The connotation is what matters.

Well as of yesterday, looks like Synchron has a fighting chance of beating out Neuralink!
