I’m honestly just thrilled to have Substack as a place where I can take my already too long TikToks and make them even longer. 🙃 The videos are my way of pointing at something shiny, but I'm excited that on here I can continue to unpack it, drop all the receipts, and give you the rabbit holes I went down along the way. This is making more sense to me now. A few months ago I got an email telling me my accounts may have been compromised and to be safe they suggested I change my password for, I think it was PayPal, but not for sure, and so I go to their website and start the password reset process and I received an error. It informed me that I was using that password on another, unconnected website, and therefore I needed to come up with another password.... Do what? I thought it may be my Google password saving function except I opt out of that option.
I’m about to as well. Nothing informative is on the fyp anymore. I used to get current events instantly, educational videos, etc. now it’s just brainrot doomscrolling.
